Designed by Arthur "Art" Hills of Toledo, Ohio. He is best known as the designer of the Tournament Players Club at Eagle Trace. He has designed quality championship courses throughout the United States.

The course has narrow fairways on the front nine and a links-style design on the back nine. Elevated greens are sloped heavily and are sometimes hard to read, but this simply adds to the competitive challenge. Bring lots of balls, though (just in case those water hazards come into play).

The club is private and has a dress code. It is open year-round, but is closed every Monday. Tee times are accepted five days in advance, and the pro shop opens at 7am along with the club. Tees include Tournament, Championship, Regular and Forward
