This 3 day – 2 night event kicks off Friday evening, September 19 with a meet and greet buffet mixer from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Villa Capri Restaurant on Clear Lake in Seabrook.

Films screenings will start Saturday, September 20, with the 9th Annual Cascade Awards Banquet capping the evening at Bailey’s in Seabrook.

Sunday, September 21 concludes with final screenings. All film screenings will be held at San Jacinto College – Central Campus in their new state –of –the –art theater. There will be opportunities for the festival attendees to meet and mingle with actors, producers and directors from the film and television industry.

The Gulf Coast Film and Video Festival is the creation of Founding Director, Hal Wixon.

Filmmakers from all over the world submit their films. The festival also showcases the Bay Area-Houston as a location for future films. Tickets are available for three-day passes, Saturday and Sunday passes and individual screenings. Discounted passes will be available to military and students with ID. The weekend fun package for all events Friday, Saturday and Sunday are on sale now. Banquet tickets will not be available at the door.
