Dedicated in honor of the seven NASA astronauts who lost their lives in the explosion of the Challanger Space Shuttle this beautiful and idyllic park is located just off Highway 45 and Nasa Road 1.

When looking at the memorial you realize the design is an exact color reproduction of the the logo that the crew mambers designed themselves for the mission. The memorial that states "On January 28, 1986, the Space Ship Challanger, during mission 51-L, exploded at 11:39am, seventy three seconds after lift off, killing all aboard" is awe inspiring. |
