From Houston:
From I-45 South, take exit 23, NASA Rd 1. Take a left into the large parking lot at the light, and you will see the Bay Area Visitor's Center on the left.

From Galveston:
From I-45 North, take exit 23, NASA Rd 1. Circle under the overpass, crossover I-45 and take a left into the large parking lot at the light, and you will see the Bay Area Visitor's Center on the left.
