The Tennessee singer will perform at the Five Points Town Plaza from 6 –9 p.m. The Plaza by the Bay concert series consists of six outdoor summer concerts held at the new Five Points Plaza in downtown La Porte. All concerts in the series are free and open to the public. 6th Annual Redfish Raft Up Set for Labor Day Weekend
Webster – The Galveston Bay Foundation (GBF), Star Fleet Entertainment Yachts, and Wiredin.cc are happy to announce that the 6th annual Redfish Raft Up will be hosted on Sunday, September 5th of Labor Day weekend. The raft up event takes place at Redfish Island in Galveston Bay and benefits GBF. Entertainment will be provided by Kelly McGuire on the Star Gazer from 12:30 - 2:00 pm and DJ Michael Robertson with Musical Cheers and Andy and the Dreamsicles will entertain boaters from the deck of the Star Spirit from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm and then again from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. We invite you to bring your boat out to Redfish Island and raft up for a fun day of live entertainment on the water

42nd Annual Blessing of the Fleet Weekend
Kemah, Texas – The 42nd Annual Blessing of the Fleet will be held Sunday May 2 at 2:00 p.m. on the Clear Creek Channel along the Kemah Boardwalk.
The Kemah Gumbo Cook-Off in conjunction with the Blessing of the Fleet activities will take place Saturday, May 1, all day at Harris Street, behind the Kemah Visitor Center.
A Bluegrass Music Festival will kick-off the Blessing of the Fleet activities starting Friday night, April 30 at 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at the Kemah Visitor Center.

City of Kemah Hosts 'Extreme Makeover Home Edition' Viewing Party
April 4th, 2010 Easter Sunday evening, in the heart of the Kemah Lighthouse District. The Kemah Episode #719 will air on ABC at 7:00 p.m. cst (local affiliate Channel 13) with the festivities beginning at 5:30 p.m. and conclude at 9:00 p.m. The city will close 6th Street between Bradford and Kipp so patrons can view the show at party locations that include Bakkhaus Greek Restaurant, Palapa’s, Zone 504 Sports Bar and Money Bar. Viewing location outdoors will be behind the Kemah Visitor Center 604 Bradford with a big screen TV, so bring your lawn chairs.
